It is a great news for millions of people in the world. Some scientists found out that circumcision can cut AIDS infection rate to half. It is a significant breakthrough for prevention of AIDS. 

Trial experiments were performed in Uganda and Kenya with totaling about 8,000 people.

Specific cells in the foreskin may be potential targets for HIV infection and also the skin under the foreskin becomes less sensitive and is less likely to bleed reducing risk of infection following circumcision.
